Susanne Hörnquist

I am a multilingual actress whose varied characters will make you both laugh and cry. I was born and raised in a suburb of Stockholm, but in my adult life I also lived abroad for many years in Paris and the United States, and studied briefly in London. I have dual Swedish and American citizenship and speaks fluent Swedish, English, and French. I currently divide my time between Stockholm and Cocoa Beach, Florida. 

In terms of education, I excelled in numerous theater courses at Seminole State College in Florida and went on to study acting at the Boulevard Theater’s acting conservatory in Stockholm. In addition to that, I also studied acting in Stockholm at the Actor’s Gym, Kulturama, Calle Flygare, and Cinemantrix,  among others. I have since gone on to play lead and supporting roles in 40 to 50 productions in Sweden, as well as seven productions in the U.S.

Aside from my many languages, I can also sing and dance, and has done so in an American musical and on stage in Sweden.

Currently, you can see me in Stadsmissionen’s short film “Before It’s Too Late” that won gold, silver, and bronze at the Epica Awards 2023, and is currently playing in Sweden on television and in theaters as an ad that encourages charitable donations. 

I have a supporting role in a feature film that will have its premiere in Swedish theaters this year and a leading role in a short film that also will be released this year. I am also currently involved in a few other upcoming film projects in the U.S., where I have roles.
